Matar Paneer Masala

Matar Paneer is a North Indian curry prepared with paneer and matar . It can be served with parathas, rotis, naan , steamed rice or jeera rice.

INGREDIENTS

1) Paneer – 200gm
2) Onion chopped- 2
3) Tomato chopped – 2
4) Mattar or Frozen green peas – 1 cup
5) Ginger powder – 1 tsp
6) Garlic Powder – 1 tsp
7) Coriander powder – 1 TSP
8) Red chilly Powder – 2 tbsp
9) Garam masala – 1/2 TSP
10) Coriander leaves few
11) Cooking oil – 4 tbsp
12) Cardamon -1
13) Cinnamon stick small one
14) cloves – 1 optional
15) Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
16) Ghee – 1 TSP to garnish
17) Kasurimethi leaves few
18) Water – 1/4 cup
19) Salt as required
